About Fostering:
I finally understood the real reason why dogs need to be fostered in the RARE occasion that they are adopted but not ready to be picked up yet. I initially thought it's because of the daily food and pet sitting financial burden on the charity or the risk that they get sick or hurt in the shelter, but then suddenly realise that it's because each space in the adoption centre is precious to display animals, so that potential adopters that come all the way to see them in person can interact with them - which of course is the best way of increasing their chances to be adopted, I'm so 後知後覺That's why they say - Every animal you foster, You are actually helping two, the one you're fostering, And also the extra space you create that allows another animal to be rescued and taken in. After all 土地問題 is real in this city :p
About Rosie: *MEET THE SWEETEST TEENY WEENY ROSIE, an ex breeder teacup poodle* Yes you may wonder, ANOTHER ex-breeder doggie? Yes, we often wonder about that too, but guess that's where the puppies in the pet shops comes from... and the mom? they got chucked out like a piece of rubbish when they cannot make more babies. Rosie is one of them, sadly dogs are really smart animals, and they suffer not just physically but also mentally from being "Used" and "caged" all their lives, the wonderful thing is, once you give them love and a home, they become another dog! Rosie is a sweet heart, one of her legs is permanently deformed likely because she was caged for too long, or could also be that she was abused and beaten to the current state. Yes, she might be "disabled" and walk with a limp but she is a beautiful, happy, sweet girl who would give you many kisses.
